Case Study: Modernizing Membership Management for Castle Club

Castle Club needed a modern solution to replace their old membership management process. We developed a centralized digital system that simplified their operations, boosted efficiency, and delivered an improved experience for both their team and members.

The Biggest Lie on the Web - “I Have Read and Agree to the Terms”

Almost no one reads the terms of service they agree to online, but “Terms of Service; Didn’t Read” (ToS;DR) is here to help. This platform summarizes and rates terms of service and privacy policies, showing how services manage your data.

For example:

- Amazon (Grade E): Tracks you across other websites and can delete your account without notice.

- Wikipedia (Grade B): Fairer terms but may use tracking technologies.

- DuckDuckGo (Grade B): Does not track users and offers anonymous options.

Check out ToS;DR to see how the services you use handle your information: tosdr.org

Taking Over the Functional Management of IMITC

We’re excited to announce that we’ve officially taken over the functional management of IMITC, the incident management tool used by Rijkswaterstaat (the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management).

IMITC helps log and manage incidents efficiently, ensuring smoother operations for government agencies.

Here’s what’s next:

- Expanding the service to other government agencies and municipalities

- Adding new capabilities to improve functionality

- Renewing the UI/UX (user interface and user experience) for better usability

- Enhancing the entire incident management process

Exclusive Sneak Peek At Mission Control

We’ve put together an exclusive demo of our Mission Control platform for a major organization (which we can’t name just yet). Designed to centralize operations and improve decision-making, Mission Control helps large teams work more efficiently and stay in control.

How the Dutch Broadcaster NOS used radio signals to create downloadable software

In the 1980s, Dutch broadcaster NOS introduced BASICODE, a system that allowed people to download computer programs via radio broadcasts. Programs were transmitted as audio signals that could be recorded onto cassette tapes and later loaded onto computers.

ZX Spectrum 8-bit Home Computer Used For Decoding Tapes

This system worked by encoding computer programs into sound waves that could be played over the radio. Listeners would record these sounds on cassette tapes and then use their home computers to decode them back into software or games.

It was an innovative way to share programs long before modern downloads existed!
